The birth space is a sacred space. I am always so honored to be welcomed into that space to document a birth experience.

There is nothing more magical than witnessing the miracle of birth. Capture the entire process of welcoming your sweet baby, through labor, delivery, and those first precious hours spent getting to know your new little one. When you book Birth Story coverage, we'll also schedule a quick chat on the phone or over coffee to discuss all the details – your estimated due date, where you’ll be laboring and delivering, the people who will be supporting you during labor and delivery, etc. I’ll ask for a $350 retainer to hold your place on my schedule, and I’ll pencil your EDD in on my calendar. I’ll be available on-call to you from two weeks before your EDD through two weeks after your EDD, and I won’t take on any other births or commit to any sessions that aren’t easy to reschedule should you go into labor during that four week window.

When the big day comes, you’ll get in touch with me when you’re ready for me to join you. I’ll capture images of you in labor, the arrival of your baby, and up to two hours after the birth. Within 24 hours I’ll be in touch with a few “sneak peeks” for you to share with family and friends. About four weeks after baby’s arrival, I’ll deliver a personalized USB in a gorgeous wood presentation box, loaded with all the best images from your birth story, lightly edited and retouched for visual consistency, in both full color and black & white (typically 120+ images).

“Birth Story” heirloom photo albums are available as add-ons to your Birth Story photography coverage starting at $350. Prints and products are available for purchase for those who are interested. Mention your interest when booking!

Maternity Sessions: a complimentary “Expecting” maternity portrait session is included in all Birth Story packages. This includes a 30 minute session and your two favorite maternity images as high resolution digital files.

($350 non-refundable retainer is due upon booking. $850 balance is due within one week of baby’s birth. No images beyond sneak peeks will be delivered until full balance has been paid. Payment plans are available upon request.)
