Family Portraits

Let’s spend some family time together! I can come to your home, or we can meet at a beautiful location we choose together. We’ll spend about 45 minutes together while I capture some posed and some more relaxed, candid images of everyone.

Whether your family is big or small, this session’s photographs are perfect for annual family portraits, your next Christmas card, and of course hanging with pride in your home for years to come!

Family Portrait sessions are $400. 

This fee includes a planning conversation, our session time at a location we select together, my time editing & retouching all the best images from our session, and access to an online proofing & ordering gallery. It also includes your FIVE favorite images as high res JPG files, selected and downloaded from your gallery.

Options to order additional digital files as well as prints and other photo products will be available in your online proofing gallery after the session. $100 non-refundable retainer is due upon booking. Balance is due by the start time of your session.

Booking Your Session

When you book a Family Portrait Session, we’ll also schedule a quick chat on the phone or over a cup of coffee to discuss the details of your session: the location, clothing ideas and suggestions, any pets you’d like to include, etc., as well as basic details about the participants and specific groupings you’d like us to capture. I work pretty fast and efficiently… the session will last about 45 minutes, but length of time will depend on the number of participants and the location you choose.

After Your Session

Within two weeks of your session, I’ll be in touch with all the details to access your online proofing gallery where you will view all the best images from our time together, carefully selected and retouched by me. Anyone from the session is welcome to access the gallery and place orders.

Ordering After Your Session

I’m proud to provide a full-service experience for my clients! You’ll be able to place orders directly from your online proofing & ordering gallery.

Digital files are by far my most popular product. Individual images are available as high resolution JPG files for $45 each, or come at increasing savings in sets of 5 ($150), 10 ($280), 15 ($400), and 20 ($500).

Wall Art and Gift Prints are also available as heirloom quality photo prints (with or without framing), gallery canvases, wood or metal prints. Photo prints start at just $25 and  wall art options start at $95.

Average investment in a Family Portrait Session proofing gallery ranges from $300 to $900, depending on whether the client opts for wall art, digital files, or a unique combination of products and files. There is no minimum purchase required.
