Prep Guide – Morro Bay
I’m so excited you’re joining me in Morro Bay for a family portrait session! This handy guide will provide you with all the pertinent details for your session, including directions to where we’ll meet.

Location
We’ll be on a beautiful stretch of beach north of Morro Strand Campground called the “North Point Natural Area.”
Turn off Hwy 1 at Yerba Buena Street, and make an immediate right onto Toro Lane. Follow the road past the condos, up the hill to the arch-shaped parking lot. I’ll meet you there, and we’ll walk together down the steps to the sand.
Please plan to arrive about 5 minutes early to have margin for parking, checking over outfits, etc., and so we can go into our time together relaxed and ready to go!
Session Flow
Our session should last about 20 minutes. My approach to family sessions is to make sure we get some classic, smiling-for-the-camera moments as well as some more relaxed, interactive moments.
We’ll make sure to get several full-family poses, as well as individual shots and other various smaller groupings. If there’s a specific grouping or pose/moment you’d like to make sure we cover, just let me know!
