Three pricing tiers provide "Family Members" with flexible options for all the different chapters in your story...
The "Moments" tier is perfect for the family who likes annual updated portraits, the perfect shot on your Christmas cards and hanging over the mantel, as well as some digital files for sharing online and archiving for the future.
In years where your family celebrates times such as high school graduations or family reunions, the "Memories" tier is here to capture it all.
The "Milestones" tier is designed particularly for growing families... those expecting a baby, wanting to capture all the important moments in their story from maternity through welcoming their new little one. It would also be a wonderful investment for families who want to capture seasonal portraits or multiple milestones over the course of the year.
Each tier includes a set number of “credits“ which are redeemable toward session fees, digital files, and other add-ons. For Family Members, session fees are simplified - every session type is now worth two credits. If over the course of your membership year, you find you need more credits, you’re able to buy additional credits for just $100. One credit is also redeemable for five high-resolution digital files... a significant savings off regular price! As an added perk, any orders placed from your gallery will receive a special family member discount, based on your membership tier!

Frequently Asked Questions
There are only 4 available memberships in each tier at a time. If there is a spot available, you are welcome to sign up at any time during the year. If the tier you want is full when you inquire, I can add you to a waiting list, and I'll get in touch when a spot becomes available.
Memberships run for one calendar year from the date you sign up. For instance, if you sign up on May 15th, your membership will continue until May 15th of next year.
Yes! When you first sign up for a Family Membership, I'll have you submit a credit or debit card on file, and you'll be able to pick your recurring payment date. After the initial payment is made, your card will automatically be charged on the date you selected.
If you'd prefer to pay quarterly or pay the full amount up-front, just let me know and we can arrange that, too!
Sure! Typically "Family Memberships" are a recurring monthly fee, but you are welcome to pay in full when you start your membership.
Most definitely! In this case, full payment is due up-front, and I'll even prepare a gift card in a neat little box for you to present to your intended recipient! The gift box will give them all the information they need to start taking advantage of their membership!
Yes, you may cancel your membership at any time. The balance on your membership will be settled based on installments paid to that point and percentage of credits already used.
For "Family Members," the "session fee" is 3 credits. That means any kind of session (family, senior, newborn, maternity, cake smash, etc.... you name it!)
In the case of an extended family session, the first 11 participants are included in the 3-credit session fee. Each additional group of 10 people is 1 credit.
You can also redeem 1 credit for 5 high resolution digital files from your sessions in your gallery.
For those who like to order Christmas cards, a custom design and a set of 25 cards will be 1 credit.
Here's a full list of all sessions that are available to you for 3 credits:
- Maternity sessions
- Fresh 48 sessions
- Newborn sessions
- Baby Milestone sessions (such as 3m, 4m, 6m, 8m, etc.)
- First Birthday portraits (complimentary Cake Smash add-on included!)
- Childhood/Milestone Portrait sessions (for commemorating birthdays and other milestones)
- Senior Portrait sessions
- Family sessions (1 family unit)
- Extended Family sessions (up to 10 people... each additional group of 10 is 1 credit)
- "Short Story" sessions (e.g., annual blossom, wildflower, themed child sessions, fall family stories) are 2 credits.
- Destination sessions (beach, mountains/snow, desert, etc... travel fee applies)
Absolutely! Fall Family Story sessions are $300. For "Family Members," they cost just 2 credits! You'll also get priority booking for those dates when they become available.
No, "Family Membership" credits cannot be used toward SpiritHorse Sessions at this time. However, your discount may be used on any print or product purchases from a booked SpiritHorse Session!
You're welcome to purchase additional credits if you need them. Credits are $120 each. Just get in touch and we can make it happen!
Good question! In the case where you have credits left, and you plan to renew for another year, then yes we will roll those credits over. In the event you have credits left and do NOT plan to renew, you will need to use your credits toward the purchase of files or products from your "Family Room" gallery within 30 days of the end of your membership. No refunds will be issued for unused credits.
Any additional purchases of prints, products, or digital files from your gallery will be discounted based on your membership tier. You will receive a Coupon Code to use on any orders when your plan begins.
Your membership also provides you with priority booking for "Back to School" sessions, and you will receive your discount on those print packages as well!
I absolutely love the opportunity to travel for an exciting session location! We absolutely can use your credits toward a destination session. The session fee will remain 3 credits, just like a local session. There will be a travel fee for a destination session, billed at 65¢ per mile beyond a 30-mile distance from my studio address (Downtown Kingsburg). This fee will be invoiced to you one week before your session, and is due the day before the session.
If you're interested in finding at least one other person/family to book a session at your desired destination while we're there, I will waive the travel fee for both of you!
Just like always! When you're ready to book a session and redeem some of your credits, just get in touch and we'll discuss all the details! Instead of invoicing you for a retainer, I'll simply make a note that you're redeeming credits, and I'll send you a receipt noting your credit balance when I send along your session agreement.
Your virtual "Family Room" is basically a master gallery. When you become a "Family Member," I will create a master gallery for you. I'll move every session we've done together into this new gallery, in its own dedicated album. This virtual gallery won't expire after two weeks like regular galleries... you'll be able to access EVERYTHING at any time, all in one convenient place!
An added perk is that you'll be able to download watermarked social-media sized files from any of your albums, FREE! You can share to your heart's content! (These social media files will have my logo on them as a watermark, and will not be optimized for printing.)
